For children who visit the Northern Maritime Museum with their family there’s a lot to do! The Museum organises different kinds of activities on a regular basis and on special occasions for instance during ‘Open Monument Day’, ‘The National Museum Weekend’ and during school-holidays.
It’s also possible to celebrate your birthday-party in our Museum.
You can ask for actual information about these activities and our temporary exhibitions by email.

For the younger children
For the children from 4 to 7 years of age, the Museum has a search with photos available through the museum rooms. This little book can be lend at the entrance desk in the hall. A visit to the museum combined with this search will take about one hour.

Searches
Especially for children who visit the museum together with their parents, the Northern Maritime Museum has developed a number of searches for children of different ages. You can download the these searches prior to your visit to the museum.
